Re: LBI deck repair/rebuild Highly recommend Rob Lavalle and Lava Homes. Project scope: Assess 3 levels of original decking on 30+ year old oceanside home on LBI to determine what should be replaced and/or repaired and be compliant with current building codes. Background: Family sought input/estimates from multiple contractors, many of which only quoted for a complete tear-down and rebuild of the deck structures. Rob took the time to listen to the family’s concerns (and budget constraints) and provided a creative solution which included restoring existing decking and adding new support structures to enhance safety and compliance with current building codes. Rob was cooperative and easy to work and guided the family through the permit process. His team stayed on schedule, on budget and provided regular digital pictures of the project progress along the way. By far the greatest compliment has been the rave reviews of neighbors who watched the construction phase and noted the professionalism of the crew and how they kept the property clean. Many were so impressed with the finished product that they have already contacted Rob for projects of their own! Thank you Rob! I had a deck built by Rob and I must say I have never seen the high quality craftsmanship and dedication to detail that he brought to the table . Rob takes pride in what he does , he worked effortlessly during the entire project.
